NOSB teams spend the Fall and Winter studying hard and gearing up for their Regional Competitions in February!
(From the Marshfield News Herald) - Team members meet three times a week for about an hour after school to practice their oceanography skills and brush up on the competition rules.
“The real work comes in when they hit the books outside of school. A lot of the kids will study during the summer,” said Paul Herder, the team’s coach. “It’s studying college material, it’s upper level textbooks they are reading.”
