The Raleigh Charter High School Team, second place winners of the 2012 NOSB Finals Competition, took a boat trip to the Chandeleur Islands as part of their award trip.
(From GulfLive.com) — A group of marine science students recently gathered early in the morning on the dock next to the Tom McIlwain, the 55-foot research vessel of the University of Southern Mississippi’s Gulf Coast Research Lab. Their destination was the Chandeleur Islands, the uninhabited barrier islands, for a day of exploration.
