University of Alaska – Fairbanks presents the Arctic Innovation Competition, Jr.
The Arctic Innovation Competition is proud to launch a junior division to showcase ideas of innovators 17 years old and younger (as of the idea submission date).
After preliminary judging, three competitors will be chose from AIC JR. entries to present their ideas on the day of the main AIC competition, Friday, October 19, 2012.
In order to promote and acknowledge the spirit of creativity, cash prizes will be awarded:
1st place – $500
2nd place – $300
3rd place – $200
Rules? Not many! Individuals or teams can submit ideas and there is no entry fee. Business plans are prototypes, also nice, are not required. The deadline for young innovators to submit their ideas is Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012.
