Beneath the Sea Scholarships!

Beneath The Sea, founded in 1976, is committed to encouraging young people to learn about our oceans. They offer a variety of educational programs, including the Sea of Tomorrow Society’s Scholarships. The scholarships, offered to young people in the 13 to 30 years of age range, provide financial assistance and encouragement to those who are interested in learning about and pursuing a marine-related career path. Six scholarships are offered this year.

The application deadline is January 15, 2013.

NOSB teams spend the Fall and Winter studying hard and gearing up for their Regional Competitions in February!

(From the Marshfield News Herald) – Team members meet three times a week for about an hour after school to practice their oceanography skills and brush up on the competition rules.
